Bruno Sanfilippo has been a musician & producer since 1991.
Through his contemplative music the intention is to transmit something other than emotional stimulus or simple entertainment. It obsesses itself with a search through different things - the amazing, the magical and the deep.
In dreams, there’s no imagined thing that’s too absurd, too strange - Bruno Sanfilippo's music comes from that inexhaustible and shameless source.

To be honest, I cannot recall when I last heard a CD as simply graceful and beautiful as Bruno Sanfilippo’s latest offering, Piano Textures 2. Slow-handed piano melodies lazily describe themselves over calm, warm synth washes in the six pieces here, each one slowing life down just a bit and trailing color as they go. Relatively common in character, these pieces absolutely melt together, the moment between tracks coming like a reflective pause before you begin to drift away on the next one.
This is a superb disc for low-volume looping, ideal for winding down the day, meditating
or just deep listening. Nothing jars the flow as Sanfilippo gently pours feeling across his keyboards and guides us along.
A stunning, gorgeous piece of work that’s also a Hypnagogue Highly Recommended CD.

“Piano Textures” is an introspective album which offers center stage for the processed sounds of a Grand old piano from 1923, accompanied by some synthesizers, duduk and samples of strings. All eight tracks have a more or less cinematic impact, their sounds tap from some kind of subconscious source, breathing a sense of melancholy that was also found in his former recordings.
Personally I find the third part the strongest exercise with its uplifting timbre and warm duduk and stringsounds. In all, this is very well executed music for the mind to make things settle down. Well done Bruno! Bert Strolenberg - former journalist E-dition mag.

Eno has suggested that ambient music must be listenable as well as ignorable, supporting various levels of attention, and the tracks on InTRO are excellent examples of this idea. I think it’s too easy to call Bruno’s music ‘new age’ because his music is too varied, too well-considered, too beautiful. Listen to the track ‘Seven lakes’ on the album ‘Sons of the Light’ and you know what I mean. Especially beautiful is ‘White wind’ with the acoustic guitar of Jorge Alvarado against a wall of strings.
